Our Story
The big question is whether you are going to be able to say a hearty yes to your adventure.

The story of Centered Stage Theatre Company ...
Centered Stage Theatre Company, a vibrant and inclusive theater company was founded by April Stewart and
Courtney R. Hall. Their journey began in the early 1990s when they were both students at PCPA (The Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts). There, they shared a passion for the performing arts and developed a lifelong friendship.
30 years later, during their collaboration on a production of A.R. Gurney's Love Letters, they recognized the potential to create something truly special. Motivated by a desire to carve out a space where artists could thrive and explore their craft, April and Courtney took a leap of faith and embarked on a remarkable endeavor. They envisioned a theater company that not only provided opportunities for their own artistic expression but also cultivated an environment that nurtured the individual creativity of every artist involved.
Through thought-provoking performances, innovative storytelling, and a dedication to diversity and excellence, Centered Stage's goal is to captivate audiences, leaving a lasting impact on both hearts and minds.
Courtney and April invite you to join them on a journey of artistic exploration and transformation and experience the magic of live theater, where creativity thrives, stories come to life and dreams are realized.
Welcome to Centered Stage.
